Privacy policy.
Laser Resurfacing Technologies (“LRT,” “we,” “us”) provides mobile laser cleaning services and laser equipment sales across the Southeastern United States. This policy describes what information we receive through this website (laser-resurfacing.com), and how we handle it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
Demo and contact requests
The “Book a demo” form on this site does not submit data to our servers — it opens your own email app with the details you typed (name, phone, email, location, and a description of the work). Nothing is transmitted or stored by the website itself; the request reaches us only when you choose to send that email. Emails you send us are handled like any business correspondence.
Chat messages
The chat assistant on this site is operated by Chatling (chatling.ai), a third-party AI chat service. Messages you type into the chat are processed by Chatling to generate replies, and conversation transcripts may be retained by Chatling in accordance with its own privacy policy. Please don’t share sensitive personal information in the chat — for anything confidential, call or email us directly.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard technical logs — such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested — used for security, abuse prevention, and keeping the site running. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell or rent personal information — to anyone, ever.
- We do not run advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.
- We do not send marketing email lists — we contact you about the work you asked us about.
Cookies
This site uses only essential, functional cookies where they are strictly needed — for example, the chat widget may set a cookie so a conversation can continue across pages. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote, or schedule a demonstration or service visit.
- To plan and document work safely — including pre-project site and laser-safety assessments.
- To keep normal business records (quotes, invoices, correspondence).
Who we share it with
Only the service providers named above (Chatling for chat, Vercel for hosting, and our email provider), and otherwise only if the law requires it or in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business. Each provider processes data under its own terms and only to provide its service to us.
Retention
We keep correspondence and project records as long as they are needed for the inquiry, the job, and ordinary business and legal record-keeping — then we get rid of them.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email steve@laser-resurfacing.com or call 877·527·3744 and we will take care of it.
Children
This site is a business-to-business service site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be noted plainly at the top.
